《足球市場》、《都靈晚郵報》等媒體稱，阿圖爾在手術後將缺席兩個月時間 ，這意味著他要等到9月中旬才能複出 。2021-22賽季意甲聯賽在8月22日開賽 ，阿圖爾肯定將缺席新賽季尤文的前三輪意甲聯賽 ，分別是8月22日尤文客場對烏迪內斯 、8月29日尤文主場對恩波利 、9月12日尤文客場對那不勒斯 。
新賽季尚未開始 ，隊內中場大將就因傷缺席 ，這對尤文新主帥阿萊格裏來說是個打擊 。阿萊格裏在時隔兩年後回到尤文執教 ，就是希望幫助尤文重返巔峰 。不過新賽季的歐冠首輪小組賽將在9月14日 、15日進行，如果康複及時 ，阿圖爾有望在尤文的首輪歐冠小組賽時複出 。
