北京時間5月8日淩晨 ，歐足聯宣布 ，欧战退出歐超的两年里法9支球隊已和歐足聯達成和解，這9隊會被扣除歐洲比賽5%收入一賽季。皇马對至今仍未退出歐超的巴萨不怕皇馬 、巴薩、尤文腰尤文 ，马德歐足聯將采取適當的庭撑任何行動，三隊或許會被禁止歐戰兩年。禁止而來自意大利媒體《米蘭新聞網》分消息稱 ，欧战三隊並不會被禁止參加歐戰，两年里法因為三隊擁有馬德裏法庭的皇马判決支持。
4月18日 ，巴萨不怕歐超聯賽正式宣布開啟 ，尤文腰但是马德由於遭到球迷與歐足聯的強烈抵製，歐超計劃擱淺 。英超的6支球隊以及西甲的馬競與意甲的國米都宣布退出歐超聯賽。而就在日前 ，米蘭也主動服軟 。

但是根據意大利的《米蘭新聞網》的報道 ，三隊並不會受到禁賽處罰。馬德裏法庭此前已針對歐超事件做出初步判決 ：歐足聯和國際足聯不得阻止歐超的成立以及發展 。另外 ，有消息稱 ，足聯紀委會以及他們的律師如果不理會馬德裏法院的裁決 ，將受到嚴厲的處罰 ，他們可能將同時承擔民事以及刑事責任 。
需要指出的是，皇馬巴薩以及尤文也有一些反製措施 ，如何有任何俱樂部退出 ，他們將會提起法律訴訟 ，從而獲得賠款。
