“每一場比賽對於國足都是常心很重要的 ，我們沒有任何一場比賽是面对每场小比賽，我跟隊員說每一場比賽都是跟队決賽 ，我們首先要表現出自己的员说水平 ，希望球員就把這場比賽看成普通的小組賽 ，把最好的東西表現出來 ，就夠了 ，希望我們的隊員去享受比賽 。”李鐵說 。
隊長吳曦則表示，球員也都非常期待這場比賽 。“球員很期待這場比賽 ，敘利亞是老對手了，也多次交手 ，我也經曆過與他們的比賽 ，過去的也都過去了 ，重要的是把明天的比賽打好。”
在被問到球隊在心理方麵做了什麽準備 ？吳曦表示 ，要勇於在球場上展示自己 。“我們堅定了一個信念 ，要在球場上勇於展示自己，明天我們也會帶著這種信念去比賽 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
