近期，巴萨哈蘭德的外租一番“被多特施壓”的言論引發了軒然大波，挪威前鋒表示“俱樂部是废柴在逼自己盡快做決定” 。而《每日體育報》則表示，皆被在簽約哈蘭德一事上，买断巴薩已有了具體的回收打算 ，紅藍軍團將籌錢的亿欧來源鎖定在了幾名外租球員身上 。
本賽季 ，追哈巴薩有多名球員租借離隊，兰德首先是巴萨格列茲曼 ，法國人被租借回了馬競 ，外租並且表現較之巴薩時期有所起色 。废柴在格列茲曼的皆被合同中有一項條款規定 ，如果法國人在馬競的买断出勤率達到50% ，床單軍團將支付4000萬歐元的回收強製買斷費用 。如果出勤率不達標 ，那麽這一買斷條款將是選擇性的 。
除了格列茲曼以外 ，巴薩的籌錢來源還來自於庫蒂尼奧與特林康 。庫蒂尼奧不久之前剛剛租借加盟維拉 ，他的買斷金額為4000萬歐元，形式為選擇性買斷 。而特林康是在夏窗被租借給了狼隊 ，他的買斷金額為3000萬歐元 ，同樣為選擇性買斷 。但如果狼隊不選擇買斷特林康 ，則需要支付給巴薩600萬歐元的賠償 。
《每日體育報》表示 ，如果上述三名球員都被買斷 ，那麽巴薩將獲得總計1.1億歐元的轉會費收入 ，而這筆錢將用來追逐哈蘭德 。
而對於哈蘭德近期的動態 ，著名記者羅馬諾表示 ：“哈蘭德很快就會與對其感興趣的球隊展開談判 ，很多因素會左右他的決定 。巴薩和曼城想要簽下他 ，皇馬也想 ，但是不知道能否做到 。”
