北京時間13日淩晨 ，亚作中國隊繼續前往沙迦哈利德·本·穆哈默德體育場進行常規訓練 。为既由於1天前全隊剛剛參加了與馬爾代夫隊的定目代比賽 ，因此比賽中首發的标战球員及吉翔 、尹鴻博兩位替補登場時間較長的球員都留在酒店健身房內進行恢複訓練 。
值得注意的是 ，在中、菲比賽前訓練期間不慎拉傷肌肉的攻擊手韋世豪目前身體恢複得比較理想 。他在康複師陪伴下 ，穿著球鞋到場慢跑訓練 。
對陣敘利亞隊 ，國足怎麽踢 ？這個問題在各組第2名球隊競爭形勢複雜的背景下引發了外界的猜測 。不過北青-北京頭條記者獲悉 ，國足始終都把取勝敘利亞隊作為40強賽最後一戰的既定目標。李鐵在中 、馬比賽中大幅輪換陣容 ，也正是要為最後一戰蓄力 。中國隊在與敘利亞隊的比賽中 ，有可能擺出本階段對陣菲律賓隊的主力戰陣。
國足全力備戰的同時，身在前線的中國足協國足備戰保障工作團隊也在為球隊的未來備戰計劃做打算 。據了解 ，國足初步計劃將於當地時間16日晚（北京時間17日淩晨） ，也就是中 、敘比賽結束第2天晚上離開阿聯酋迪拜，乘包機飛赴上海 。需要說明的是 ，國足按時啟程的前提是，所有人員確保健康安全 ，從而順利登機。
盡管中國隊能否挺進12強賽仍有待本隊及其它各組競爭結果而定 ，但對於出線 ，中國足協與國足教練組均充滿信心 。按照計劃及相關防疫規定 ，中國隊將由上海浦東國際機場入境 。隨後全隊在接受防疫檢查及隔離後 ，將集體進駐位於蘇州太湖太美香穀裏酒店的駐地 。在接下來一段周期的封閉隔離期間 ，全隊將在駐地專屬訓練場進行常規訓練 ，直至國腳們於7月上旬解除隔離 ，才將返回各俱樂部備戰中超聯賽 。
