由於今夏的曼城轉會窗口還有6天就要關閉了 ，留給曼城的热刺時間已經不多了 ，他們最終是护驾否能夠拿出1.5億鎊來收購凱恩 ，這恐怕是不周整個英超在這個夏天最大的懸念 。
《太陽報》稱，成罪盡管已經在與狼隊的凯恩魁比賽中替補登場 ，但凱恩已經再次通知主席列維 ，再次希望獲得放行加盟曼城的发声機會 。
這名英格蘭前鋒目前的愿今感受並不良好 ，因為他在隨英格蘭隊征戰歐洲杯後延長了自己的夏赴假期 ，而鑒於轉會傳聞 ，人們對於他的延遲歸隊產生了大量的批評甚至謾罵 ，熱刺並沒有在這件事情上試圖保護他 。
