針對遲遲沒有退出歐超的皇馬 、巴薩 、巴萨尤文 ，尤文欲反歐足聯如今正式啟動了紀律處罰行動 ，击欧将提绩這三隊有可能被逐出歐冠兩年 。足联重成據塞爾電台報道稱 ，出更這三大豪門並沒有屈服，欧超而是皇马打算反擊歐足聯 。這三大豪門 ，巴萨將會對歐超賽製進行一定的尤文欲反改革 ，以便讓這項賽事的击欧将提绩競技成績更重要 。
在歐超創立時的足联重成計劃中 ，每年共有20隊參賽。出更其中15家豪門永遠擁有參賽權 ，欧超另外5個名額則屬於成績較好的皇马其它球隊。在這一賽製下 ，這15家豪門將永遠能夠分得巨額獎金 ，這使得歐超性質更類似於美職聯籃球 。無論成績如何，15家豪門永遠賺得盆滿缽滿 ，歐超因此被視為一項純粹圈錢的表演賽 。
針對這一點 ，皇馬 、巴薩和尤文將會對歐超賽製進行相應的改變 ，以使得競技成績更為重要。這三大豪門均認為 ，歐超還“沒死” 。但如今的關鍵在於 ，在九大豪門退出歐超之後 ，皇馬、巴薩和尤文很難再找到與其地位相當 、實力相符的對手 。如果歐超中充斥著羅馬 、比利亞雷亞爾 、埃弗頓 、朗斯之類球隊的話 ，那歐超也就不算是歐超 ，反而成了個天大的笑話……
歐足聯主席切費林曾表示，在所有12家歐超初創球隊領導層中 ，最不讓他失望的是巴薩主席拉波爾塔。巴薩如今經濟上壓力巨大 ，切費林清楚拉波爾塔加入歐超是迫於無奈 。但如今九大豪門都退出了歐超 ，巴薩反倒還追隨皇馬和尤文 。塞爾電台指出 ，切費林對拉波爾塔的舉動感到很吃驚 ，巴薩內部也對拉波爾塔追隨弗洛倫蒂諾感到不解 。
