首回合比賽中 ，王永深足以0∶1告負 ，珀球申花老將於漢超打進了一個長途奔襲的落后球 。客觀地說 ，影响有信深足在上一場比賽中的心逆表現並不好，大部分時間都處於被動，转申最終以0∶1告負也算是花晋合理的結果 。當然 ，王永恰恰因為隻輸了一球 ，所以深足仍然有機會逆轉晉級。
賽前發布會上 ，深足主帥卡洛斯表示 ，現在大家的精神狀態不錯 ，充滿了鬥誌 。
深足隊員王永珀也認為球隊有機會逆轉 。“教練組和管理層沒有給我們壓力 ，從比分上看 ，我們是一球落後 ，但這個比分對我們的影響不大 ，第二回合的比賽我們會全力以赴 ，爭取拿下比賽 。”王永珀說 。
在王永珀看來，現在還有一整場比賽沒踢，什麽情況都可能發生 。“一球落後很正常，現在還有90分鍾 ，”王永珀說 ，“大家對逆轉比賽還是很有信心的 ，而且兩隊之間非常熟悉 ，希望下一場比賽能有更好的發揮。”
對深足來說 ，次回合比賽仍然要先從防守做起 ，一旦率先失球 ，總比分變成了落後兩個 ，那麽基本上就很難逆轉了 。正因如此 ，無論是主導控球還是戰略防反 ，深足都必須悉心專注，不能再給申花打出快速反擊的機會。卡洛斯說 ：“我們要學會閱讀比賽 ，利用次回合的比賽時間去改變一切吧。次回合肯定會很精彩吧 。”
