廣州城的股改工作進展相對比較順利 。據俱樂部高層透露 ，放弃廣汽入主廣州城一事已經基本談妥 ，接手键于將來廣汽會成為廣州城的队念第一大股東，但富力集團仍然會保留三成股權 。头关态度不為人知的广药广州广州关部是 ，廣汽與富力的放弃關係其實很不錯。十多年前，接手键于富力集團買了數百輛汽車 ，队念贈送給廣州某部門作為工作用車 ，头关态度購買的广药广州广州关部車輛就來自廣汽 。同時 ，放弃股改後的接手键于俱樂部管理層 ，也有富力集團的队念員工留任 ，繼續參與俱樂部的头关态度運營管理 。
相比廣州城 ，廣州隊的情況就不太樂觀 。由於兩家公司的理念和心理價位差距很大 ，廣藥並沒有如願入主廣州隊 。但恒大想繼續單獨運營廣州足球俱樂部絕不是一件容易的事 。在大幅度減薪後 ，廣州隊的主力球員肯定會大批出走 ，廣州隊今年的陣容實力將會大大下降，外界已經把廣州隊列入今年中超的降級熱門。以足校小將為主的廣州隊有多少戰鬥力 ，估計看過去年亞冠比賽的人都會有所了解 。
