歐洲杯1/8決賽 ，科克西班牙將對陣克羅地亞 。无法威胁賽前發布會 ，接受恩裏克與中場大將科克一同出席。莫拉们
小組賽末輪 ，塔遭天都前兩場首發的练点馬科斯·略倫特沒有出任右後衛 ，阿斯皮利奎塔擔任首發 。科克不過 ，无法威胁考慮到馬科斯·略倫特本賽季表現頗佳，接受希望他在中場位置上首發出戰呼聲一直很高 。莫拉们對於球隊的塔遭天都用人安排 ，恩裏克表示 ，练点“我對球隊和陣容很滿意，科克24名球員中的无法威胁任何一位都可以出場 ，每一名出場的接受球員都可以為球隊提供保障。”而對於小將佩德裏，恩裏克依然表示 ，“事實比言語更有力 ，對於我們來說佩德裏是一名獨一無二的球員 ，他現在也非常有活力 ，我認為他狀態很好 。”
由於對莫拉塔的表現不滿 ，西班牙國內對這位中鋒有不少的批評之聲，甚至有激進的球迷對莫拉塔及其家人進行了人身威脅 。對此恩裏克回應稱 ，“有時候這種事情的嚴重程度，已經到了需要報警的地步 。威脅他的家人和孩子是很嚴重的事情，必須要堅決製止這種行為 。”
“我們必須要取得勝利 ，我不知道會發生什麽，但可以肯定的是，我不會對球隊產生懷疑 ，我們會繼續提升球隊的表現，用防守來限製對手的發揮 ，我對此很有信心 。”
一同出席發布會的科克 ，也談起了莫拉塔的情況 ，“我們可以接受任何批評，但我們無法接受有人威脅我們和我們的家人 。人們必須要對自己的言行負責，我從未想過有人會在網上做這種事情 。我用擁抱給了他鼓勵 ，我也與他共同經曆過很多事情 ，我們不僅是隊友 ，更是朋友 。我們現在要把注意力放在應該集中的地方 。”
對於克羅地亞陣中核心莫德裏奇 ，科克表示 ，“大家都知道莫德裏奇的能力 ，他是皇馬的球員 ，也是金球獎得主，對於我來說他就是克羅地亞最好的球員 。現在他是我們的對手，我們必須要小心，他的外腳背射門很有威脅 。我們必須要控球 ，讓對手感到疲憊 ，之後造成威脅 。”
赫拉德·莫雷諾與莫拉塔此前先後罰丟點球 ，來到淘汰賽 ，球隊也將麵臨點球大戰的可能性。對此科克透露稱 ，“我們每天都在練習點球 ，最近的這兩個點球我們運氣不太好 ，希望我們明天還能獲得點球機會 ，教練會決定誰來主罰 。我們有一個名單 ，名單中都是罰球比較好的人 ，我確信之後的點球我們會罰進 。”
