北京時間7月27日，上海上海海港官方宣布保利尼奧加盟 ，海港河北本賽季為河北隊出戰7場。官宣
公告如下：
經友好協商 ，保利本赛上海海港足球俱樂部與河北足球俱樂部就巴西球員保利尼奧（全名 ：Paulo Henrique Soares dos Santos）轉會一事達成一致 。尼奥保利尼奧將成為上海海港隊的加盟季一員 ，代表球隊出戰本賽季的队出各項賽事 。
保利尼奧今年27歲 ，战场出道於巴西的上海巴伊亞足球俱樂部 。登陸歐洲後，海港河北保利尼奧於2016年加盟葡超波爾蒂芒人俱樂部，官宣開始嶄露頭角。保利本赛他一共為波爾蒂芒人出場93次 ，尼奥打進19球，加盟季有15次助攻 。队出2017/18賽季 ，保利尼奧被租借至葡超豪門波爾圖俱樂部 ，並隨隊獲得了一座聯賽冠軍獎杯 。2020年初 ，保利尼奧加盟河北足球俱樂部 ，本賽季前7輪中超比賽 ，保利尼奧7次出場 ，6次首發 。
保利尼奧有著出色的腳下技術 ，可以勝任中前場多個位置 ，他的加盟將進一步加強海港隊的中場實力和前場攻擊力 。
