《魯爾新聞》透露 ，弗洛倫蒂諾已經告知哈蘭德團隊，皇馬並不打算在今夏就引進哈蘭德 。皇馬希望哈蘭德在多特蒙德多待一年，然後在明年夏天去伯納烏踢球 。皇馬今夏的頭號目標 ，是以自由轉會的方式引進姆巴佩 。本澤馬目前狀態正佳，他的合同恰好簽到了2023年。如果哈蘭德願意接受皇馬這一建議的話 ，他將在2023年接替法國人出現在皇馬9號位位置上 。
從皇馬角度而言 ，這個建議顯然最符合俱樂部利益 。但對於哈蘭德而言 ，他未必能夠接受皇馬的建議 。按照此前西媒的說法 ，皇馬原本就不是哈蘭德的首選下家。哈蘭德的目標是金球獎 ，與姆巴佩同隊的話 ，他大概率將無法贏得金球獎 ，畢竟挪威相比法國隊實力差了幾個級別 。哈蘭德首選加盟巴薩 ，一來巴薩能給他獨一無二的絕對核心地位，二來巴薩向來有製造金球獎的高等級平台 。此前西媒曾經透露 ，哈蘭德已經與巴薩達成了一份3+2式的合同 。隻要巴薩籌措到足夠的資金 ，哈蘭德就會在下賽季來到諾坎普。
