“我不認為曼聯發生的任何事情應該責怪C羅 ，他完全有權利相信自己 。C羅是對的 ，如果沒有C羅 ，曼聯的處境會比現在更糟糕 。我非常理解他的感受 ，因為當我在職業生涯末期的時候也有幾次無緣出場 ，我非常討厭那種感覺 ，因為這讓我覺得很尷尬，很丟人 ，這就是我的感覺 ，我相信C羅也會這麽想 。”
“至於在比賽結束之後C羅是否應該更有風度的去鼓勵隊友一事 ，我認為俱樂部擁有C羅是所有年輕人的夢想，他們應該主動向C羅尋求建議 ，全身心的投入到足球事業中 。我認為曼聯最大的問題在於糟糕的防守 ，甚至可以說是缺乏防守 ，C羅不是找借口，他對球隊的混亂感到惱怒 ，並且要求更好 。但是 ，他能從誰那裏得到這些呢？誰又能給他這些呢 ？他想要的何時會發生呢 ？我能看到情況在更加糟糕之前好轉嗎 ？我看不到 。”
