北京時間1月27日消息 ，12強賽最新一輪展開爭奪 ，议点中國男足客場挑戰日本隊 ，球判上半場第11分鍾的罚需一次點球判罰引發了爭議 。
比賽進行到第11分鍾 ，判定伊東純也接隊友直塞在底線傳中 ，王燊位置皮球打在飛身封堵的超手处于國足球員王燊超手臂上麵，主裁判毫不猶豫就判罰了點球 ，臂否大迫勇也一蹴而就 ，国足日本隊取得領先 。遭争自
這粒點球判罰也引發了一定的议点爭議 ，根據改製後的球判規則 ，無論防守球員的罚需手臂是否處於擴大防守的位置 ，隻要是判定自然的位置 ，就不應該判罰手球犯規。而當時王燊超正在進行鏟球封堵 ，手臂不可能貼在身上 ，應該屬於自然擺動 。
如果在沒改製的前 ，這個動作鐵定是犯規 ，應該判罰點球 ，但是在更改後的規則裏 ，這個判罰就值得商榷。
值得一提的是 ，足球報記者陳永也在個人社交平台上 ，表示這個動作不應該判罰點球 ，他寫道 ：“這個完全可以不判點球，王燊超是鏟球 ，按照新規則手臂是自然動作 。”
隨後他又補充道：“我表達的意思似乎要說明一下 ：完全可以不判 ，而不是完全不可以判 ，可以不判 ，和不可以判 ，不是一個意思 ，其實就是模棱兩可之間 ，可以不判。新規則是 ：手臂如果是身體自然運動的結果就不是點球 ，鏟球不可能手臂貼在身上 ，肯定要張開保持平衡，所以這個就是裁判的認定 。如果是原來的規則 ，那肯定是點球 。”
“又連續回看了很多次 ，裁判可能認定手臂抬起過高且恰好有一個下壓動作 ，這可能是VAR沒介入的原因，運氣太糟糕了。”（DD）
