北京時間7月6日 ，官方英超利茲聯俱樂部官方宣布簽下巴薩左後衛菲爾波 。巴萨據巴薩官方透露，左闸菲爾波的加盟轉會費為1500萬歐元，紅藍軍團還有20%的利兹联万二次轉會分成的權利。
巴塞羅那俱樂部對菲爾波此前的未分貢獻表示感謝 ，並預祝他未來取得成功 ，官方並且好運同行 。巴萨菲爾波在2019年從貝蒂斯加盟巴塞羅那 ，左闸過去兩個賽季裏代表紅藍軍團出戰了41場比賽 ，加盟打進2球 。利兹联万
上賽季菲爾波合計出戰18場比賽 ，未分在西甲聯賽 、官方歐冠聯賽 、巴萨國王杯和西班牙超級杯比賽中都有出場 。左闸而巴薩上賽季國王杯奪冠，這也是菲爾波兩年巴薩生涯中僅有的一個冠軍錦標 。
值得一提的是 ，巴塞羅那未來還有機會從菲爾波的身上賺取轉會費 ，紅藍軍團在合同中留下了一項浮動條款：菲爾波如果永久轉會離開利茲聯 ，那麽巴薩將賺取20%的轉會費 。
