憑借巴頓的国足世界波以及吳興涵的進球 ，中國隊在11月3日進行的通过第2場熱身賽中以2比1逆轉取勝中甲浙江隊。值得注意的热身是 ，目前隨隊參加集訓的赛确31名國腳中，除韋世豪、定国队郭田雨 、脚人尹鴻博等極少數球員外 ，选部絕大多數球員分別在兩場比賽中出場 ，分球且出場時間大多不少於60分鍾 。员本可以說，周离通過此次熱身，国足主教練李鐵對目前國腳們的通过狀態有了比較清晰的了解 。據了解 ，热身少數球員或因請假 ，赛确或因暫時不符合球隊本月兩場比賽技戰術需要而將在本周內離隊，定国队從而無緣赴阿聯酋參加本月兩場12強賽比賽 。
為了檢驗備戰效果並全麵考察國腳狀態 ，中國隊於3日先後安排了兩場熱身賽 。對手分別是中超深圳隊、中甲浙江隊 。在首場比賽中，中國隊以3比0完勝深圳隊 。
而首場比賽結束後10餘分鍾 ，國足與浙江隊的熱身賽打響 。代表國足出場的球員全部為首場比賽未能出場的球員 。上半時臨近結束前 ，浙江隊馬修斯利用吊射敲開了國足大門 。客觀地說，浙江隊本場比賽發揮不俗。在場麵上一度壓製國足 。
進入下半時 ，主教練李鐵對陣容進行了一番調換 ，包括王上源在內的部分球員替補登場 。結果巴頓 、吳興涵相繼破門 ，幫助國足以2比1逆轉取勝。
據了解 ，包括4名門將在內的絕大多數國腳都分別在這兩場熱身賽中亮相 ，而大部分國腳的出場時間都超過60分鍾 。韋世豪 、郭田雨、尹鴻博3名國腳未能亮相當天的熱身賽 。
中國隊教練組將根據3日的兩場熱身賽的情況來確認隨隊西征的國腳人選 。而暫時不符合比賽要求及請假的少數球員 ，將從4日開始陸續離開球隊 。
