一開始 ，喜欢有人懷疑37歲的热刺C羅能否達到這一裏程碑 ，但在去年夏天回歸老特拉福德之後他做到了 ，罗里程拉和而目前有關他在曼聯未來的达成的对猜測非常多。但C羅最擅長的英超就是反擊批評者 ，此前他在對陣熱刺時上演帽子戲法，在戰諾維奇時他再次完成戴帽 。而本場比賽 ，他時隔多年再次在酋長球場完成進球 。
