“天使”變“魔鬼” ，迪馬利亞終於為自己的衝動付出代價。對陣曼城首回合比賽時 ，蓋耶在球隊連丟兩球後蹬踏京多安被當值主裁出示紅牌罰下；次回合做客伊蒂哈德球場再度與曼城展開廝殺時 ，迪馬利亞又因踩踏費爾南迪尼奧染紅離場 。據統計 ，巴黎也因此成為歐冠曆史上繼拉科魯尼亞和裏昂之後 ，第3支在半決賽兩回合都有球員染紅的球隊。
