北京時間3月21日 ，国足中國男足重新在上海的伤病厚湃爾足球公園集中，開始新一輪集訓 。不断由於多名主力缺席 ，李铁國家隊的急招陣容磨合也成了最大的問題。由於出現多名球員傷病 ，曹赟参集國足內部正在積極進行溝通 ，定申可能會緊急征調其他球員入隊。花队北京時間21日晚記者從申花俱樂部了解到 ，训达申花球員曹贇定已經接到通知 ，国足將前皇冠假日酒店，伤病與國家隊會合 ，不断參加本期集訓 。李铁
國家隊本期集訓可謂是急招多災多難 ，此前李可 、曹赟参集蔣光太 、張琳芃等人已經因傷或者行程問題缺席集訓 ，20日球隊集結前 ，又傳出消息 ，恒大的歸化球員費南多又因為熱身賽拉傷 ，而缺席本期集訓 ，據李鐵介紹 ，費南多的拉傷可能需要2-3周時間恢複 。
申花目前正在康橋基地進行封閉訓練 ，曹贇定此前也曾經入選過李鐵執教的國家隊 ，並跟隨李鐵出戰過2019年年底的東亞杯足球賽。不過隨後有比較長一段時間 ，曹贇定並沒有得到國家隊的征召 。此次重回國足 ，曹贇定有機會重新證明自己 ，搭上出戰40強賽的末班車 。而在他入選之後 ，本期國足集訓 ，申花隊的球員名單也增加到了3人 。（搜狐體育裴力）
