據山東電視體育頻道記者了解，济南目前山東泰山全隊正在俱樂部基地認真備戰足協杯比賽 。有望作為衛冕冠軍 ，足协众开球隊對足協杯備戰工作還是杯举办地相當重視 。
中國足協此前已經公布了足協杯正賽階段首輪和第2輪的对观比賽時間 ，首輪比賽10月13日打響 ，放尚第2輪比賽將在10月18日展開 ，无消從8強戰開始 ，济南比賽將集中到一座城市進行 。有望足協杯的足协众开決賽將在中立場地進行 ，具體場地和最後的杯举办地決賽時間需決賽球隊出爐後正式確定 。
本賽季足協杯大概率將在濟南、对观長春 、放尚大連和梅州四地進行決賽之前的无消比賽 ，當然 ，济南最終消息還需要等待官方宣布 ，而決賽則將選擇中立場地進行。
目前濟南賽區正在積極準備各項工作 ，迎接足協杯賽事到來 。由於比賽球隊眾多，到時除奧體中心外 ，山東省體育中心也有望成為足協杯比賽場地 。至於賽事能否對觀眾開放 ，目前還沒有官方消息 。
