最為最近幾個賽季英超頂級球隊 ，利物浦一直都在和曼城進行對抗和爭奪 ，认错但本賽季初期 ，误利物浦贏得了社區盾杯冠軍之後 。担忧利物浦就陷入到了低迷之中，球迷聯賽目前一勝難求，羡慕在上輪比賽雙紅會中更是瓜帅被難兄難弟曼聯擊敗 。
不得不說利物浦本賽季的摊牌爭冠情況是不容樂觀了 ，而克洛普在本輪英超賽前發布會上也罕見地承認了錯誤 ，克洛他表示：“我承認之前，普罕我認為球隊不需要引進中場的见承話是個錯誤 ，我們正在尋找合適的认错人選 。我們會在接下來做一些工作 ，如果合適我們就會果斷拿下 ，如果不合適的球員我們也不會過多追求” 。
要知道克洛普這番罕見認錯 ，其實也是在對利物浦高層的內涵和施壓 。之前賽季開始前克洛普就公開發文表示羨慕巴薩能夠想買誰就買誰 ，但如果俱樂部希望自己節約 ，他也可以辦到 。那時候他都對利物浦引援相當不滿意了 ，現在球隊經曆了一個低迷的開局 ，隊內傷病情況也相當多 。加上努涅斯紅牌停賽3場 ，球隊接下來的比賽可謂是異常艱難 。
利物浦高層恐怕相當擔憂，克洛普已經不滿意球隊引援問題了 ，他作為球隊真核都出現動搖。新賽季想要挑戰曼城恐怕是非常艱難的事情了，球迷們也紛紛感歎：“他羨慕瓜帥了，曼城這些年隻要瓜帥點名的球員 ，都是會盡力支持” 。利物浦作為穩健盈利型俱樂部 ，想要加大投入幾乎是不可能了 。
