《gol.ru》指出，亚洲目前國際足聯和歐足聯針對俄羅斯球隊的不受禁賽處罰，有可能會持續數年 。抵制在這種情況下，俄罗俄羅斯足球也許不會再出現在歐洲足球勢力版圖中。斯媒為了擺脫這種被孤立的体俄情況 ，俄羅斯足協理論上唯一可行的可加方法就是加入亞足聯 。如果“脫歐入亞”的入亚話 ，俄羅斯足球就能繼續參加國際比賽，足联並留在整個足球體係之中 。目前大量歐洲球隊都拒絕和俄羅斯比賽，但俄羅斯在亞洲不會遇到這個問題 。
《gol.ru》還指出 ，澳大利亞就是“入亞”的典型代表。在2005年，澳大利亞從大洋洲足聯轉投到亞足聯旗下 ，並曾經贏得了亞洲杯冠軍。俄羅斯有大量國土處於亞洲 ，“脫歐入亞”從理論上而言比澳大利亞更有說服力 。
但《gol.ru》也承認 ，俄羅斯想要加入亞足聯存在著很大難度。最關鍵的一點 ，就是這需要得到國際足聯的批準 ，但目前FIFA也是處罰俄羅斯的關鍵權力機構之一 。要想說服國際足聯 ，俄羅斯需要做的事情還有很多很多 。
