北京時間11月5日 ，曝中有媒體報道稱 ：因為受疫情影響 ，甲第阶段即將進行的因疫月日中甲比賽的第四階段已決定延期再賽 ，暫定開賽日期為11月20日 。情延期暂期此前中甲有球隊曝出欠薪事件 ，定开或許聯賽的赛日延期對於這些存在問題的俱樂部來說也是一種緩和 。
此前 ，曝中中甲聯賽第四階段預計在11月中旬開賽 ，甲第阶段各支球隊已經開始集訓準備近日入駐賽區 。因疫月日事實上 ，情延期暂期中超下階段的定开重啟日也將延後 ，此前有消息稱將在12月10日之後 。赛日按照原計劃 ，曝中中甲第四階段 ，甲第阶段每支球隊還有8輪的因疫月日比賽。即便5天一輪 ，不到40天就將結束 。這意味著 ，中甲聯賽打完 ，中超第二階段的比賽還沒有開始 。
當然，如果臨時有中超球隊宣布不參加未來的聯賽 ，中甲球隊將不用打附加賽，前四名都可以完成升級 ，因此中甲接下來的賽程也都是未知 。而且就在昨天貴州隊曝出欠薪事件 ，球員們在網上曬出聯名討薪書，並表示不給錢不進賽區。也有消息稱 ，還有其他球隊也都存在相同問題 。有球迷在評論區稱 ：“有球隊表示去踢聯賽開銷太大了 ，說是不想去賽區了……據賽區相關工作人員大致算了一下 ，一個球隊踢一個階段比賽的開銷大概在150w左右 。省一點是一點唄 ？”
