呂迪格現年29歲，费万德國籍中後衛 。皇马由於與切爾西間的敲定切尔签字續約談判不順 ，呂迪格將在今夏以自由身離隊 。腿欧在德國《轉會市場》中，冠决官宣呂迪格目前的赛后身價為3500萬歐元。
據《The 费万Athletic》的消息 ，呂迪格將與皇馬簽訂一份為期4年的皇马合同 ，稅後年薪大約在900萬歐元至1000萬歐元之前 。敲定切尔签字而德國記者Patrick Berger則透露 ，腿欧由於是自由轉會加盟皇馬 ，因此呂迪格將獲得大筆簽字費用 ，金額高達3500萬歐元 ，與其身價相當。
此外據消息人士透露 ，呂迪格與皇馬的合同中將包含4億歐元的解約金條款 ，這也是西甲球隊與球員簽約時合同中的常規部分 。
