北京時間9月20日 ，佩德西班牙《世界體育報》披露 ，望巴西班牙中場佩德裏願意與巴塞羅那俱樂部續約 ，萨续受任這位小將願意接受俱樂部提出的约愿意接任何條件 。
後梅西時代 ，何条與核心球員完成續約成為了巴塞羅那俱樂部的真爱重要任務 。此前 ，佩德有消息稱 ，望巴巴薩不準備激活法蒂合同中的萨续受任續約條款 ，而是约愿意接準備為他重新提供一份合同 。根據《世界體育報》的何条消息 ，佩德裏同樣希望與巴塞羅那俱樂部完成續約，真爱並且願意接受任何條件 。佩德佩德裏在16歲時被巴薩花費500萬歐元簽下 ，望巴若算上浮動條款 ，簽下他的費用已經上漲至1500萬歐元 ，而且有可能上漲至3000萬歐元至3500萬歐元 。此外 ，佩德裏的老東家拉斯帕爾馬斯可以得到15%的轉會分成。報道稱，巴薩將會在不久之後正式開啟與佩德裏的續約談判 。與法蒂的情況相同 ，佩德裏此前與巴薩的合同同樣是“3年+自動續約2年”模式 。巴薩希望用對待法蒂的方式完成與法蒂的續約 ，即不激活續約條款 ，直接簽定一份新合同 。巴薩方麵認為，球員目前的職業生涯軌跡和薪資水平已經和此前的那份合同的水平大不相同 。
《世體》表示 ，佩德裏願意接受巴薩提出的任何條件 ，以完成續約工作 。對於之前合同中不受歐足聯認可的“3+2條款” ，西班牙小將也無意就此進行上訴 ，他隻希望俱樂部完成續約 ，並且願意為此盡可能地提供便利條件 。
年僅18歲的佩德裏是巴薩上賽季的最大發現 ，這位天才中場堪稱“哈維和伊涅斯塔的結合體”。盡管在今夏先後代表西班牙國家隊和國奧隊出戰了歐洲杯和奧運會 ，但經過調整之後的佩德裏仍牢牢占據著巴薩的首發位置 ，佩德裏-德容-布斯克茨的中場組合仍是科曼的首選 。巴薩視佩德裏為球隊的基石球員 ，而佩德裏認為巴薩是最適合自己的球隊 ，看起來雙方的合同還會持續很多年。
