Summer may be coming to an end, but Netflix's collection of movies and TV shows will still be around should you need an escape.

September sees the return of several Netflix series, including Season 5 of Cobra Kai and Season 4 of Fate: The Winx Saga. This coming month also marks the release of films like teen comedy Do Revengeand rom-com Love in the Villa, as well as the highly anticipated Blonde, which stars Ana de Armas as Marilyn Monroe.

Top pick: Drifting Home

The anime film Drifting Home tells the story of strained friendships and summer goodbyes, all set in a floating apartment building.

Sixth-graders Kosuke and Natsume are good friends who grew up in the same apartment complex. Now, the building is set to be demolished, and Kosuke, Natsume, and their friends play in it one last time over summer break. However, things take a turn for the bizarre when they realize the building is drifting alone at sea. Will they be able to make it back? And will Kosuke and Natsume's friendship survive? Based on the trailer alone, Drifting Home looks to be a beautifully animated journey with heaping amounts of mystery and sentiment.
