根據《太陽報》的年夏消息 ，若曼聯無緣下賽季歐冠 ，英媒C羅將會在今夏再次離開老特拉福德。联无罗今离队C羅的法获代表與下月初成為曼聯新任CEO的理查德-阿諾德在本周進行了會談，葡萄牙巨星認為 ，對於目前僅僅排名聯賽第七的曼聯來說 ，獲得下賽季歐冠資格的難度不小。C羅下個月就將年滿37周歲了 ，他想要踢到40歲 ，贏得更多的獎杯 ，而現在的曼聯很難滿足他的要求 。如果無法獲得下個賽季的歐冠資格 ，葡萄牙巨星很可能會在今年夏天離隊 。
C羅上周接受采訪時就談到了曼聯內部的問題，他認為：“曼聯隊內的一些年輕球員 ，還沒有準備好聽取像他這樣更有經驗的職業球員的建議 。”與自己第一次效力曼聯時相比 ，如今的紅魔的訓練缺乏強度 ，他對此感到震驚 。
