在天津津門虎隊中 ，地完剛剛加盟的金洋洋 、石炎和王嘉楠等內援備受球迷關注 ，全隊也同時撤銷了周其明 、聶濤 、楊立春和孫梓軒的中超聯賽報名 。在經曆了建隊之處的匆忙之後 ，如今天津津門虎隊終於可以對陣容作出調整和改變 ，從某種程度上也說明了全隊的實力得到了提升 。
在接受記者采訪時，天津津門虎隊新援王嘉楠表示 ：“這是我第一次前往賽區 ，非常期待 。我們在於總的帶領下 ，大家訓練的很好 ，準備的也非常充分 。我加盟天津津門虎隊之後 ，有一種回到家的感覺 。全隊非常團結，老隊員和新加盟的內援還有外援 ，大家會一起努力 ，完成好今年的聯賽目標 。”
前一天剛剛加盟天津津門虎隊的外援馬格諾·克魯斯並沒有現身 ，他將從武漢直接前往蘇州與全隊會合 。天津津門虎隊首場比賽將在7月19日對陣北京國安隊 ，由於全隊的進攻存在一些問題，因此馬格諾·克魯斯或許將得到出場機會 ，在中超賽場上證明自己的價值 。
7月16日傍晚 ，天津津門虎隊抵達蘇州太美·香穀裏酒店駐地 。抵達後的第一項工作是進行核酸檢測 ，而這樣的檢測 ，在賽區內每周都要進行一次 。（劉欣攝影）
