丁旭在個人社交媒體寫道：廣州足球俱樂部在廣州足協注冊 ，广州规定非廣東足協，按照按照現行轉讓規定 ，跨协廣州足球俱樂部不能跨協會轉讓，曝广也就是州队必須在廣州足協注冊 ，也就是迁离不可能遷到非廣州範圍內的廣東省內其他城市，廣州城足球俱樂部同樣如此 。
中超8冠王廣州隊遭遇前所未有的危機 ，目前球隊尚未正式集中，能否參加12月中旬開始的中超爭冠組比賽還是未知數。根據之前的消息，目前廣州隊沒有進行係統訓練 ，大部分隊員在老隊長鄭智的帶領下單練 。
