北京時間10月26日，據多家國內媒體報道 ，辟谣不赢不激國足12強賽下一個對手 、主帅阿曼隊主教練伊萬科維奇 ，国足在麵對國足之前的辞职一次訪談中立下Flag ，如果在接下來與中國隊的言论比賽不能全取三分，他將承擔全部責任 ，名记並將辭去阿曼隊男子主教練的辟谣不赢不激職務。
對此 ，主帅記者李璿進行辟謠，国足表現伊萬不是辞职這麽激進的人。李璿首先寫到 ：我說實話 ，言论我不太相信伊萬說了這個話 ，名记以前在山東魯能執教的辟谣不赢不激時候 ，本報多次采訪過他 ，主帅感覺他不是這麽激進的人 。這個事情還是需要查證一下 ，別像上次越南主教練樸恒緒說中國隊隻有30分鍾體能一樣，是杜撰的 。
隨後李璿補充到 ：果然 ，伊萬科維奇表示 ：“來自阿曼的問候 ，感謝中國球迷和媒體朋友們的關注 。對於每一個對手我都非常尊重 ，但同時我作為一名教練，來到場上就是為了爭取勝利 ，不論對手是誰 。中國和中國球迷朋友們會永遠留在我的心中 ，非常高興有機會再次回到中國，與中國隊交手 。”
根據賽程安排 ，國足與阿曼隊的比賽將在11月11日進行 ，由於國足大概率無法承辦主場賽事，比賽地點或許還將在阿聯酋 。
