據介紹 ，接前迦中國男足所乘坐的往沙MU7119航班於北京時間13時從上海浦東機場起飛 ，預計在阿聯酋當地時間3日19時到達迪拜 。国足工作中國隊29名球員和教練員 、保障工作人員團隊共58人在到達阿聯酋後 ，团队將直接前往比賽地沙迦 。余人

中國足協5月31日宣布，由於馬爾代夫和敘利亞隊內近期發生疫情感染 ，根據中國關於入境人員疫情防控相關規定，兩隊入境參賽需嚴格隔離 ，不能如期參加比賽 。因此世預賽四十強賽A組剩餘比賽將不按原計劃在蘇州舉辦 ，而是在亞足聯的建議下易地阿聯酋 。30日在蘇州進行的比賽中 ，中國隊以7:0擊敗關島 。
根據亞足聯公布的最新賽程 ，中國男足將在當地時間6月7日 、11日和15日分別迎戰菲律賓 、馬爾代夫和敘利亞隊 。目前 ，中國隊3勝1平1負積10分排名A組第二 ，想要確保從四十強賽出線 ，需在最後三場比賽中爭取全勝。（完）
