當地時間3月26日晚 ，赛前时调中國隊赴場地進行抵達阿曼馬斯喀特後的训练训练第2次室外訓練 。而由於東道主足協提供的场坑訓練場地條件不理想，中國隊的平国訓練改在距離駐地酒店地理位置相對較遠的訓練場內進行 。
國足於當地時間25日下午抵達馬斯喀特後 ，足临於當晚便趕赴蘇爾坦·卡布斯體育中心 ，换至也就是业余29日客戰阿曼隊比賽場地的副場進行恢複訓練 。然而 ，球场全隊抵達場地後，赛前时调教練組發現這塊場地的训练训练訓練條件遠遜於球隊在沙迦以及其它地方備戰時使用的場地 。最令教練組擔憂的场坑是 ，球場總體上坑窪不平 ，平国其中央地帶還出現了一片凹陷地 。足临在這樣的换至場地內訓練，國腳們無疑將平添自身受傷的业余幾率 。
據了解 ，在此之前 ，赴這裏備戰過的12強賽B組其他球隊也對場地的糟糕條件作過吐槽 。舉例來說 ，去年10月 ，作為阿曼隊本屆12強賽對手之一的越南隊在這裏進行抵達當地後首次訓練期間 ，其韓國籍主教練樸恒緒就惱怒地抱怨該場地訓練條件太差 。先於越南隊赴馬斯喀特比賽的沙特隊在事先了解當地情況後，直到賽前一天才抵達當地 ，並於當晚直接趕往卡布斯體育中心主體育場進行賽前場地適應訓練 ，他們壓根就沒有在場地的副場訓練過 。日本隊 、澳大利亞隊也遇到了類似問題 ，隻不過他們雙雙都在賽前兩天才抵達當地 ，因此將球員受場地影響遭遇意外傷病的幾率降低到最低點。
中國隊在參加完24日中 、沙比賽後，於次日便趕到馬斯喀特 。因此在遭遇阿曼隊前 ，國足要在當地進行4場訓練 。當然 ，有一點需要說明，中國足協 、中國隊受疫情影響無法指派專人提前赴比賽地實地考察酒店住宿 、交通及訓練 、比賽條件 。
據了解 ，中國足協國足工作組近期已通過亞足聯向東道主足協方麵提出變更訓練場地的要求 。而直到當地時間26日下午，球隊才確認將訓練改在一座設在“庫瓦德（Al-Kuad）地區”的足球場 。據悉，這座場地並非哪家職業俱樂部的專業球場 ，而是當地一家法院內的場地。這座球場的各項設施條件難言優質 ，但比起比賽場地的副場 ，至少這裏的草皮平整度能夠得到保障。中國隊在這裏的首練也僅僅持續了不足70分鍾 。由酒店至場地的乘車時間為40分鍾 。中國隊按計劃將於當地時間27日晚繼續在這裏進行訓練 。
