北京時間3月1日，巴达被逐國際足聯與歐足聯發表聯合聲明 ，出欧全麵禁止俄羅斯國家隊與俱樂部參與這兩大組織旗下的声明受賽事。世預賽方麵波蘭將直接晉級附加賽決賽，反对而在俱樂部層麵，但被正參加歐聯的迫接莫斯科斯巴達將被逐出 ，原定抽簽對手萊比錫將直接晉級 。巴达被逐
莫斯科斯巴達俱樂部就此發表了一份聲明 ：“歐足聯和國際足聯決定將我們從歐聯杯中逐出 ，出欧因此對陣萊比錫的声明受比賽將不會如期進行 ，德國俱樂部將自動獲得1/4決賽席位 。反对”
“這份決定的但被做出盡管可預料 ，但仍讓人感到難以接受 。迫接不幸的巴达被逐是 ，球隊在歐聯杯中的出欧努力，被與因體育無關的声明受因素影響而被抹除了 。”
“歐足聯和國際足聯的決定已經做出 ，我們對此表示反對，但不得不接受。”
一個頗有意思的事情在於 ，萊比錫主帥特德斯科此前曾執教於莫斯科斯巴達 。在被歐聯杯逐出後 ，莫斯科斯巴達官方社交媒體也是發布了祝福帖 ，祝他們的前主帥特德斯科在歐聯杯好運 ，希望未來能夠在更和平的環境下再次重逢 。
