聯合隊在全運會上如願奪冠 ，王珊隊長王珊珊也為天津體育代表團奪得了一枚金牌 。天津對此 ，夺金队需這位老將這樣告訴記者 ：“這是荣幸我參加的第四屆全運會了 ，最終拿到了一枚金牌 ，有种也算是自信很圓滿了 。”
能夠為天津奪得一枚金牌，王珊在王珊珊看來非常開心，天津“對我來說還是夺金队需一種榮譽感，天津培養了我 ，荣幸能夠為天津代表團拿一塊金牌 ，有种是自信非常榮幸的。”前三屆全運會，王珊王珊珊都代表天津隊出戰 ，天津但都和冠軍失之交臂 ，夺金队需這次對她來說也算是一種非常圓滿的結果 。
這次全運會上 ，王珊珊從前鋒回撤到了中衛位置上 ，她的出色表現讓後防線穩固了許多 。對此 ，王珊珊表示 ：“其實也是根據對手的不同特點，球隊有不同的安排 。教練和我有過溝通 ，希望在需要的時候讓我踢後衛，能夠帶動大家 。作為隊員 ，我無條件遵守教練的布置和安排 。”
盡管此前從沒有踢過中衛，不過和上海女足的決賽中 ，王珊珊依靠出色的位置感和技術優勢 ，讓對方前鋒沒有占得半點便宜 。王珊珊說：“我們畢竟是國家隊，還是需要有一種自信的，這樣才能打出我們的精神和氣勢 。”
在談到自己此刻心情的時候，王珊珊表示 ：“感謝天津的球迷和所有支持我的人 ，讓我拿到了這枚金牌。無論我在哪裏 ，我都希望能夠代表天津拿到金牌，自己要為天津這座城市爭光 。”
