德國當地時間8月23日 ，官方德甲豪門拜仁慕尼黑官方宣布 ，拜仁俱樂部與基米希的续约希至續約工作已經完成，雙方的基米合同到2025年到期 。據跟隊記者法爾克報道 ，年曝年薪基米希的达万年薪達到2000萬歐元 。
此前拜仁續約基米希的官方步驟和新合同細則接連被德國媒體曝光 ，多家德媒表示可能很快就會取得階段性的拜仁成果，但由於蓋德-穆勒的续约希至突然離世 ，基米希的基米官宣一事被迫推遲 。
在本月上旬 ，年曝年薪拜仁主場安聯球場的达万牆外打出了白色的JK6的字樣 ，很明顯南部之星給予基米希極高的官方禮遇 。根據此前德國媒體的拜仁報道 ，基米希將會和拜仁續約到2025年，续约希至拜仁核心的薪水將會直接翻倍 ，達到2000萬歐元 。但是因為此前德國足球名宿、拜仁俱樂部功勳蓋德-穆勒去世 ，基米希的續約消息遲遲沒有官宣 。
基米希在2015年從斯圖加特加盟拜仁慕尼黑 ，六年來基米希已經成長為拜仁的絕對主力 。此前雙方的合同到2023年到期 ，如今雙方願意繼續簽訂新的合同 。基米希此前向媒體透露，自己從來沒有考慮過除拜仁之外其它的俱樂部 。
