在卡塞米羅倒地後，主裁示意這是一個點球 ，而最終本澤馬主罰命中 ，為皇馬打開了勝利之門 。對於這次判罰 ，瓦倫西亞球員非常不滿 。賽後，瓦倫西亞球員加西亞在接受采訪時也談到了這個點球判罰 ：“所有人都看到了 ，那個球非常明顯是卡塞米羅打到了阿爾德雷德，但我們不會把輸球的責任怪在裁判身上 。”
