當地時間9月20日晚，足协北京時間淩晨 ，出征厨中國隊繼續前往沙迦俱樂部副場進行室外訓練 ，特意而當天上午 ，月队全隊還分批在健身房進行身體訓練 。饼随包饺隨著訓練再次“上量” ，过节国脚國腳們的足协身體疲勞反應漸漸顯現 ，一些“小傷小病”也隨之而來。出征厨後腰池忠國就因身體不適而無緣參加此次訓練 。特意
9月19日恢複正常訓練後 ，月队中國隊於當地時間20日白天 、饼随包饺晚間分別進行了兩次訓練，过节国脚這也是足协球隊抵達沙迦後所經曆的第2次“一天兩練” 。其中，出征厨全隊上午在下榻酒店健身房 、自行車房進行身體力量訓練 ，晚上則赴場地進行有球的技戰術訓練 。
結合當地時間16日晚內部教學賽暴露出的體能狀況不佳等問題 ，教練組在近期訓練期間有意識強化國腳們的體能儲備 。
國足備戰的時候正值國內中秋節假期 ，因此利用央視對全隊訓練情況作現場直播報道之機 ，國足全體球員在隊長吳曦的率領下 ，通過電視台鏡頭向祖國人民送去中秋節的祝福 。
“每逢佳節倍思親” ，中國足協考慮到國足將帥長期在境外備戰，特意在全隊西征前由國內帶來了月餅。阿聯酋當地的中資企業也為全隊準備了月餅 ，並指派專人送至球隊駐地酒店 。除此之外 ，隨隊西征的中餐廚師還特意為國腳們包了大餡兒餃子 。由於餃子餡兒調製得相當美味，餃子剛剛被擺上餐桌 ，便被國腳們一搶而光 。
當然思鄉並沒有影響國足備戰的正常進行 。據了解，共有30名球員參加了當地時間20日晚的室外訓練 。池忠國因身體有不適 ，暫時留在酒店內進行調整 。不過從隊內反映的情況看 ，池忠國不過是因為身體出現了疲勞反應 ，問題並不嚴重 。正常來說 ，他可以參加21日的合練 。
隊中的另一位傷號張琳芃20日晚在隊醫陪伴下 ，先是在場邊慢跑，接著開始進行有球訓練 。 值得注意的是 ，在中 、日比賽中首發出場的攻擊型中場尹鴻博因受腰傷的擾 ，未能參加合練 。球隊進行技戰術訓練的時候 ，他先是與張琳芃一同慢跑 ，接著在隊醫指導下單練 。據了解 ，尹鴻博的腰傷情況也不算嚴重，稍微調整後 ，他便可以重返訓練場 。
