北京時間1月3日下午 ，2021賽季中超聯賽最後一輪爭冠組廣州隊VS上海海港的宇国賽前新聞發布會 ，廣州隊主教練劉智宇攜隊員梅方出席。脚缺
劉智宇表示 ：“明天是席对响本賽季最後一場比賽 ，非常好的广州天氣 ，非常好的队影大还定郑一個對手，比賽中兩隊爭取為大家奉獻精彩的不确比賽 。”
一同出席新聞發布會的智否廣州隊球員梅方則說道 ：“明天將是球隊賽季最後一場比賽 ，希望延續之前幾場好的刘智狀態和精神麵貌。”
當被問及是宇国否會選擇主力首發時 ，劉智宇說道 ：“我們現有球員每個人都是脚缺首發 ，就看怎麽搭配陣容 ，席对响海港非常有實力，广州我們全隊很重視 ，队影大还定郑我們也想把比賽打好 ，不确全力以赴 。”
此前，廣州隊的國腳們已經提前離隊 ，有媒體問到國腳缺席的影響，劉智宇回答說 ：“沒有太大的影響 ，大家也看到了我們之前比賽結果不錯 ，但明天對手很有實力 ，我們要做好過程 ，享受比賽，把我們自己的東西打出來 。”
有媒體問到廣州隊執行主教練鄭智明天會不會首發 ，劉智宇表示 ：“這個還沒有確定 ，我們還有很多種人員的搭配和組合，明天首發名單出來大家就會看到 。”
被問及本場是否會延續之前的打法時，劉智宇說道 ：“對方的慣用打法 ，兩個邊路的輪轉很有威脅 ，海港隊球員能力很強 ，我們全隊都非常重視 。”
