而讓人吃驚的有望是 ，在相關機構最新開出的执教暂排紐卡斯爾新主帥賠率榜上 ，特裏的賠率從1賠66大幅提升為1賠9 ，這意味著外界目前很看好特裏成為紐卡主帥。特裏目前的賠率在榜單上已經排到了第五位 ，目前豐塞卡和法夫爾均以2賠9的賠率並列第一 ，接下來是馬丁內斯和雅爾丁。
不過《郵報》指出 ，紐卡斯爾俱樂部也在接觸阿賈克斯主帥滕哈格 ，紐卡新老板願意為滕哈格提供1100萬英鎊的稅前年薪。但如果曼聯解雇索爾斯克亞 ，也可能考慮邀請滕哈格執教 ，紐卡斯爾請來滕哈格的希望並不大 。
