記者昨天了解到 ，昆明开赛昆明 、梅州梅州 、大连大連等地是成新中超新的候選賽區 。如賽區能夠盡快敲定，候选開賽的赛区上旬第一時間力爭安排在5月上旬 。
本賽季中超競賽方案尚未公布 ，中超争月18支隊伍分三組 ，仍力采取封閉的昆明开赛賽會製完成首階段比賽是大概率 。在承辦某一組比賽的梅州事情上 ，梅州的大连態度積極 ，當地的成新三座體育場很早就開始改造提升 ，暫沒聽到其態度發生變化的候选消息 。昆明被列為候選地之一 ，赛区上旬原因不複雜 ，中超争月海埂基地符合封閉辦賽要求 ，那裏正在進行女甲聯賽第一階段（1-5輪）比賽 ，本月25日結束，第二 、第三階段移師他地進行 。中超初始階段和女甲首階段從時間上能錯開 。
大連在2020年和蘇州一起承辦過中超比賽 ，青訓基地的草坪質量之高給人留下深刻印象 ，應當說大連進入視野，成為候選地之一不出人意料 。中超考察組不僅僅是考察了上述三地 ，也考慮了其他城市 ，例如杭州 ，有消息稱如果亞運會之後中超延續賽會製 ，杭州仍有機會承辦後續比賽 。
最新的消息表明 ，中國足協 、中足聯籌備組力推5月上旬開賽 ，如果不把“五一”假期計算在內的話，比較合適的時間節點一目了然。推動中超開賽的工作 ，各方需通盤考量的因素眾多 ，環環相扣 ，充滿不確定性。
