北京時間8月23日 ，申花帅人上海申花俱樂部總經理周軍和代理主帥毛毅軍接受了媒體的接触贾秀继续采訪 ，對於申花第一階段高開低走，全主 成績不佳進行了總結 。定内带队周軍在接受采訪時明確表示 ，部教沒有接觸過賈秀全 ，练或他也不會接手申花隊。申花帅人
周軍表示 ：“申花接下去的接触贾秀继续教練是誰 ，在我這個層麵 ，全主還沒有答案 ，定内带队賈秀全我們關係不錯 ，部教他也是练或個優秀的教練 ，但如果不是申花帅人北京這場比賽 ，我們希望給毛毅軍或者申花內部的接触贾秀继续教練員機會，讓他繼續帶下去 。全主因為疫情的原因 ，確實很多外籍教練現在也不一定進得來 。
賈指導的新聞，其實之前就出來了 ，媒體的報道把賈指導的路都斷了 ，賈秀全不會來 ，我們也沒有聯係過他 ，第二 ，人家願不願意來，我們不能太自以為是，人家沒有說要來申花 。”（搜狐體育 裴力）
