在此之前 ，官方俄羅斯足協曾提交申辦2028或2032年歐洲杯的欧足欧洲申請 。如今 ，联驳罗歐足聯官方宣布 ，回俄俄羅斯提交的申办申請不符合要求，將其駁回 。杯再歐足聯官方表示 ，下多项制由於歐洲杯的官方機製是東道主將自動晉級決賽圈 ，而俄羅斯足協的欧足欧洲全球禁賽 ，到那時並不確定是联驳罗否會撤銷 ，因此不能接受其承辦的回俄申請 。而這項決意 ，申办也是杯再關於俄羅斯足球禁賽處罰的其中之一 。
除此之外 ，下多项制歐足聯還宣布 ，官方2022-23賽季的歐洲國家聯賽 ，俄羅斯國家隊將不會參加，並確定以小組墊底的成績降級 。下賽季的歐國聯 ，俄羅斯原本處於B級別的第二組，與冰島 、以色列和阿爾巴尼亞同組 。也就是說在下下賽季的歐國聯，如果俄羅斯能解除禁令參賽 ，那麽他們將出戰歐國聯的C級別賽事。
而對於俄羅斯的俱樂部球隊 ，歐足聯也沒有網開一麵 ，男足和女足的歐戰資格被全麵取消，而歐戰積分將按俄羅斯聯賽此前五年裏的最低分計算，分別為4.333分和1.750分 。
最後還有對於俄羅斯女足國家隊的處罰 。歐足聯宣布，此前已經打入決賽圈的俄羅斯女足將被禁賽 ，在附加賽中不敵俄羅斯女足出局的葡萄牙女足，將遞補獲得參賽資格。在此之前 ，俄羅斯女足在附加賽中以兩回合1-0的比分擊敗葡萄牙女足 。而在原本的正賽分組中 ，俄羅斯女足與荷蘭女足、瑞典女足 、瑞士女足同分一組 。
而在女足世界杯歐洲區預選賽中 ，俄羅斯女足也繼續遭到停賽 。4月的兩場女足世預賽 ，俄羅斯女足就因禁賽未能參加 。據悉 ，俄羅斯女足此前參賽的結果將被判無效 ，原本有6支球隊的小組將改為5隊進行 。
