2021年4月8日，中超新賽季中超聯賽第一階段賽程正式公布 ，第阶段赛德比大战4月20日將打響首輪，程月8月5日踢完第一階段 ，日揭本階段共14輪比賽 。幕战分為廣州和蘇州兩個賽區舉行 ，广州各賽區中8支球隊分別進行雙循環比賽。首轮上演
根據安排，京沪首輪中超便將上演多場焦點對話 ，中超廣州賽區揭幕戰便上演廣州德比 ，第阶段赛德比大战而在23號，程月首輪比賽將以申花對陣國安的日揭京滬大戰作為收官 。第二輪比賽兩個賽區依然會迎來頂級對話，幕战廣州隊VS山東泰山 ，广州上海海港VS北京國安 ，首轮上演本賽季一開局便看點十足 ，強強交鋒火星四射 。
在5月17日結束第5輪比賽後 ，聯賽將有一段間歇期 ，國家隊集結備戰，5月30日-6月15日 ，國足將出戰世預賽40強賽 ，6月21日 ，聯賽重燃戰火 。第一階段全部比賽將在8月5日踢完，此後的第二階段 、第三階段比賽是否恢複主客場製 ，目前仍未確定 。
