根據多家歐洲媒體此前的拉波力该路報道 ，巴薩 、尔塔皇馬 、想让吸引尤文圖斯三家俱樂部已經收到了歐足聯的足球走欧通知，下賽季仍將參加歐冠。超条歐足聯日前已暫停對這三家俱樂部的拉波力该路調查程序 ，但這仍然不會是尔塔此事的結尾 。日前接受采訪時 ，想让吸引巴薩主席拉波爾塔堅持表示 ，足球走欧歐超計劃能夠幫助足球運動。超条
“足球的拉波力该路觀眾正在變少，年輕人觀看足球的尔塔方式也在改變 。我們必須要做一些事情 ，想让吸引讓足球變得更有吸引力 ，足球走欧要讓每場比賽都更有價值 。超条有些俱樂部被嚇到了 ，麵對歐足聯和英國首相的威脅 ，這些外國資本控製的俱樂部退讓了 。但我們仍然與這些俱樂部保持著聯係，大家很很清楚現在應該做什麽。歐足聯盡管威脅我們 ，但無法對我們進行處罰 。”拉波爾塔這樣說道 。
“歐超這個計劃應該更好地給球迷們去解釋 ，但我們沒有解釋得很好 。在這個賽製下 ，參賽的資格會持續兩到三個賽季 ，會有升級也會有降級 ，聯賽也會繼續。足球的金字塔仍然存在 ，但這些細節都沒有被解釋清楚 ，因為當權者希望維持目前的狀況 ，他們還對我們進行了侮辱。如果希望足球變得更有吸引力 ，就應該走這條路，這一點我非常肯定 。”
