北京時間6月11日淩晨 ，乌拉瓦尼南美勁旅烏拉圭公布了參加美洲杯的圭美26人大名單 ，馬競前鋒蘇亞雷斯 、洲杯中场曼聯前鋒卡瓦尼等明星球員悉數入選 。大名单苏多强另外皇馬的领衔巴爾韋德以及巴薩的阿勞霍也在名單之列 。
烏拉圭是乌拉瓦尼一支南美勁旅 ，目前世界排名第9位，圭美南美球隊中排名僅次於巴西與阿根廷 ，洲杯中场雖然在排名上不如巴西與阿根廷 ，大名单苏多强但是领衔烏拉圭卻是美洲杯賽場的大贏家 ，曆史上一共15次奪冠 。乌拉瓦尼
