5月18日 ，深足深圳隊外援卡爾德克在接受媒體采訪時透露 ，若国有關自己入籍中國的足需足协事情確實已在運作之中，但不知到了具體哪一步 。德克而據了解，球队全力深圳足球俱樂部對此事的配合態度非常明確 ，那就是工作如果國家隊確實需要卡爾德克 ，那麽俱樂部就會全力配合中國足協落實相關手續。深足
卡爾德克表示 ：“我的若国想法很簡單 ，我現在是足需足协深圳隊的一員，我要為這支球隊 ，德克這個城市做自己最大的球队全力貢獻。至於(入籍)那些事情 ，配合並不是工作我能選擇的 ，而是深足其他人選擇我 。”
談到球員入籍問題 ，卡爾德克說 ，“當我的水平足夠高的時候 ，或者說我有足夠的能力去為國家做一些貢獻的時候 ，我是可以去付出這些努力的 。對我來說，如果我被選擇的話，我肯定是非常的開心 ，我也會樂於去做出我的努力 。”
至於自己入籍一事的進展，卡爾德克說 ，“可能事情並沒有想象那麽簡單，因為我並不知道這些事情怎麽運作 ，但是我知道已經開始運作一部分了 ，我也不知道到了哪步 。但是我相信如果他們完完全全信任我和選擇我的時候，那證明他們肯定我的價值，我也會真的非常開心，非常樂於去為下一個團隊做貢獻 。”
卡爾德克2016年加盟重慶，此後一直在中超效力 。按照國際足聯相關規定 ，卡爾德克符合變更會籍的條件 。
