去年年底 ，卡帅恒大的希望希望帥位問題曾發生很大爭議 ，自球隊首次賽季四大皆空後 ，尽快大部分球迷都希望能換帥 ，回意但是大利最終經過了俱樂部與卡帥的多次溝通 ，意大利人還是执教繼續留在廣州 ，不知道是欧洲否受到此事影響 ，目前卡帥對於繼續執教的成功信念也有了動搖 ，日前在接受家鄉媒體《Canale 21》采訪時 ，卡帅他就公然表示自己想盡快回意大利執教 。希望希望
卡帥表示自己離開意大利已經兩個多月了 ，尽快但至今中超聯賽仍未開始。回意不過這裏的大利疫情基本散去，人們的执教生活也恢複正常 。接下來我的欧洲目標是想盡快回意大利執教，雖然之前我的教練生涯與其他歐洲教練不同 ，但目標還是希望能在歐洲取得成功 。
當然這已經不是卡帥首次談到想回國執教 ，不過他這次特意提到了“盡快”這個字眼 ，也就說明他內心對回意大利的渴望 。自從經曆過“上課”事件以及去年的成績低迷後，卡帥與俱樂部之間或多或少都會有點隔閡 ，再加上近期中國足壇大環境惡劣 ，不少著名的外援外教都離開了 ，其中更包括他的恩師奧拉羅尤，意大利人產生這樣的想法，並不奇怪 。
其實早在今年2月份，就曾有傳聞卡帥可能會執教意大利國家隊。目前意大利主帥曼奇尼已經確定在明年世界杯之後就離開 ，巧合的是 ，明年年底卡帥與恒大的合同就到期，這時機完全適合 。不過從這六年主帥生涯來看 ，意大利人僅拿到過1次頂級聯賽冠軍 ，這成績確實難有說服力 ，當然如果能有裏皮在背後做靠山，像當年在國足時期一樣 ，那麽卡帥入主意大利隊的機會將大增 。
