其次是支持烏克蘭 。來自波蘭媒體的報道 ，萊萬剛剛出售了對陣法蘭克福時自己在比賽中佩戴的隊長袖標 ，而義賣的收入將全部用於支援烏克蘭 。據悉 ，萊萬將自己佩戴的與烏克蘭國旗顏色相同的隊長袖標以大約27000波蘭茲羅提（約合5511歐元）的價格進行了出售 。這些收入將用於購買醫療急救材料並運往烏克蘭 。
無獨有偶，拜仁對於萊萬的義舉同樣十分支持。本輪與勒沃庫森的比賽 ，拜仁在賽前將主場安聯球場幾乎變成了“烏克蘭”主場 。球場外部的裝飾燈調成了代表烏克蘭國旗的藍黃兩色；此役擔任隊長的俱樂部隊副穆勒也選擇了和萊萬一樣的“烏克蘭”隊長袖標；球員在入場時的外套也精心挑選了藍色和黃色兩種 。種種細節都體現了拜仁對於萊萬主張的支持 ，對於深陷戰亂烏克蘭的聲援，對於世界和平的向往 。
