英超排名第2的曼城客場對陣英冠排名第13的布裏斯托爾城 ，比賽開始不久馬赫雷斯助攻福登首開紀錄取得夢幻開局 ，接下來較長的時間雙方都互有攻守 ，直到下半場後半段阿爾瓦雷斯橫傳助攻福登梅開二度 ，接著德布勞內外圍遠射滾入死角 ，曼城3-0完勝布裏斯托爾城晉級八強 。
富勒姆-利茲聯
上半場利茲聯角球傳中麥肯尼頭球攻門被撲出 ，呂特補射破門 ，可惜裁判示意犯規在先進球無效 ，隨後富勒姆球員帕裏尼亞後點搶斷直接起腳突施冷箭遠射打進一記世界波首開紀錄 ，緊接著利茲聯球員尼奧托補射破門被吹越位。下半場易邊再戰米特洛維奇助攻所羅門禁區線上打進一記完美弧線的世界波 ，隨後威爾遜助攻米特洛維奇再進一球可惜被吹越位，最終富勒姆2-0戰勝利茲聯晉級八強 。
布萊頓-斯托克城
英超排名第8的布萊頓客場挑戰英冠排名第17的斯托克城 ，海鷗軍團開局就占據場麵優勢 ，鄧克直塞禁區的三笘薰麵對門將無私送出橫傳助攻埃文弗格森推射空門球進 ，剩餘時間兩隊互有攻守均偉再進球 ，布萊頓1-0斯托克城成功晉級足總杯八強。
萊斯特城-布萊克本流浪者
英超排名第12的萊斯特城主場迎戰英冠排名第4的布萊克本流浪者 ，上半場阿爾泰出球失誤被搶斷 ，多蘭接球帶兩步外圍直接起腳兜射破門 ，藍狐一球落後 。進入下半場不久斯莫迪奇後點接球到禁區麵對包夾推射球進 ，巴恩斯橫傳門前助攻伊希納喬破門幫助藍狐扳回一球 ，最終萊斯特城1-2不敵布萊克本流浪者慘遭英冠球隊淘汰出局 。
