北京時間4月14日消息，媒体結束了12強賽征程的人总仍中國男足將於本月24日解除隔離 ，屆時他們將離開海口返回俱樂部備戰 。局和對於主帥李霄鵬的足协置去留 ，外界有比較多的对李討論聲音 ，媒體人李璿在個人社交媒體上也發文談到了此事 。霄鹏
李璿寫道 ：
我也說下李霄鵬指導 ，去留前没签合當時他是媒体被總局點名臨時接手的國家隊 ，時間緊任務重 ，人总仍據我了解 ，局和當時李霄鵬說想先帶完12強賽的足协置四場，讓領導到時視情況再看是对李否繼續執教 ，但總局領導的霄鹏意見是讓他帶到亞洲杯 。
當時沒簽合同 ，去留前没签合所謂教練團隊也沒有合同，媒体所以初期來個大家幫幫忙——一堆在聯賽的教練都來幫忙 ，後來就剩下肇俊哲孫繼海鄭智等幾個人。他們跟李霄鵬一樣沒合同 。這也可以理解 ，總局定人選 ，但簽約肯定是足協簽。隻是後來一直沒有機會就此有磋商和達成共識 。
12強賽最後四場打的狀態大家也看到了 ，尤其輸越南，引發的輿情是滔天巨浪 。在總局和足協都沒有提出任何說法的情況下 ，李霄鵬和他的臨時教練組把比賽帶完了。
一切結束回到國內後 ，總局和足協到目前為止仍舊對李霄鵬的去留不置可否 。李霄鵬作為本土教練，當然是要等領導給個準信 ，但他的處境 ，大家可以琢磨下：合同都沒有 ，活兒幹了 ，鍋背了 ，現在上上下下不吭聲 ，如何自處 ？
